History of Double Digit Art
Two long-time friends, good art that unfortunately wasn't going to make it to a show or gallery, and some late-night conversations: the right mix for a great idea. Andy Popenfoose and Ethan Drent-a couple college guys-didn't let the distance between South Carolina and Indiana dampen their friendship or their knack for brainstorming. They both noticed that way too many artists had scads of good work going to waste. (Even Andy had pieces he didn't know what to do with.) The luckiest art finds a home with friends and family, but what about the rest? And what about the people out there who want unique art for their homes but who don't want to spend thousands of dollars for work done by a prestigious name?
Our Philosophy
Double Digit Art is for those artists and lovers of art. DDA brings buyers and sellers together at a place where works of art are $99 and under. The Website uses a simplified method of finding art the buyer loves. The upload process is free and simple for the seller, and inputting sale information is easy. The seller can post an unlimited number of pieces and only pays a small fee once a piece has been sold. The buying process is easy, too. It's a win-win situation for everyone.
