Step 1-Search:
There are 4 methods of search with Double Digit Art: the top 25 pieces, the top 25 artists, the quick search, and the detailed search.
The top 25 pieces and top 25 artists are the quickest ways to see artwork that you and other friends of Double Digit Art have said they are fans of. Simply click either icon on the Double Digit Art homepage and you will see what has received the most views. The top 25 are all available for purchase, and just like everything else on the site, they are under 100 dollars!
The quick search presents you with simple questions: happy or sad, big or small, etc. You don't need to have studied art for years to get started-answer the questions and we make the prediction for you! The quick search function can also be found on the bottom of the homepage, and at the bottom of this buying information page.
The detailed search function gives you more options. You can enter keywords, artists' screen names, or specific types of art that are not included in the quick search.
Step 2-Browse:
When browsing the recommended pieces, you are presented with images of the piece of artwork, as well as price and shipping info, the ratings of the artist, and a little background of the piece. When you're ready to buy it, simply add it to your cart. If you like it, but aren't ready to buy it, you can commend the artist by selecting that you are a fan of the piece or a fan of the artist. Not only will your support make the artist feel good, it will also help other people like yourself find this piece you approved of!
Step 3-Checkout:
When you are ready to checkout, click on your shopping cart icon (found on the top right part of the screen). You can then review your cart, and enter your shipping and billing information.
You can feel safe entering your information because the payment process is performed over a secured and encrypted connection.
We believe in making the process as simple as possible, so you don't even have to set up an account! Both credit card and PayPal are available options for payment.
After checkout, the artist has 10 days to get the piece in the mail to you with the shipping method described on the page you found your piece.
After you receive your piece, you will get an opportunity to rate your experience with the artist. Artists deserve recognition, and the information you provide will help other fans of Double Digit Art know what a great experience you had with the artist.
